Lucas Montgomery-Davis is the Global Lead of Distributed Experiences at Block, where he designs employee experience programs for a distributed-first workforce. His work focuses on creating intentional systems that help teams stay connected, aligned, and effective, without defaulting to traditional hybrid models. A key part of his role includes building programs that support employees in markets where Block does not have a physical office, ensuring equitable access to connection, resources, and opportunity regardless of location.

Lucas partners across leadership, operations, and culture to scale experiences that reinforce clarity, autonomy, and belonging. He is particularly interested in preventing “hybrid creep”, the gradual drift back to office-centric norms, and advocates for principle-driven in-person strategies that support truly distributed teams.
